Dan Cordingley co-founded and led Teradici as CEO for 14 years, raising almost $100M for the venture-backed company, building it from inception to become the worldwide technology leader for cloud-based virtual desktops, deployed by thousands of Enterprises serving tens of millions of end users. In this session, Dan will share what he learned as a first-time founder and CEO, including the challenges of nailing product market fit, finding the right business model, evolving the go to market strategy, executing a major pivot, developing a high-performance culture, successful fundraising and managing a board of directors.
Dan Cordingley is a serial entrepreneur and mentor to technology companies. Most recently, Dan co-founded and was CEO of Teradici for 14 years, building the venture-backed company to become the worldwide technology leader for cloud-based virtual desktops, deployed by thousands of Enterprise customers serving tens of millions of end users. Prior to incubating Teradici, Dan worked in venture capital at Foundation Capital and Intel Capital in the Bay Area. Earlier in his career, Dan led product management and marketing for Level One Communications (LEVL), transitioning to General Manager as the company sustained 100% per year growth. Dan continued in the GM role after the acquisition by Intel, at the time the largest semiconductor acquisition in history.

From raising capital to scaling to exit strategies, these seasoned guest speakers deliver valuable content designed to help startups and entrepreneurs thrive. Lectures are typically 30-40 mins, followed by open Q&A.
