Before joining the Department of Commerce in 2015 as the Director of Economic Development for the Maritime sector, Joshua served as Coordinator of the Washington Maritime Federation and brings extensive maritime industry experience to his position. During his career, he has developed a successful record of leadership in a number of positions including: Maritime Sector Business Development Manager for the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County; Program Director and Marine Operations Manager at The Evergreen State College; and E3 Regional and Network Coordinator for the Environmental Education Association of Washington. Joshua is also a professional Merchant Mariner having worked in the towing industry and spent six years as captain, sail trainer and environmental educator with Sound Experience, aboard the schooner Adventures.

Allan is an experienced clean energy executive, with over 30 years’ experience with BC Hydro in Vancouver Canada, in a variety of roles from Resource Planner to the Manager of the Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Program. He has over 8 years’ experience with Corvus Energy as VP Business Development and VP Global Customer Service. At LAVLE he holds the position of Executive Vice President.

Olivier Cadet is SVP Global Operations located in Houston, and responsible for Kongsberg Maritime activities in the Americas region. Prior to assuming his role in July 2018, Olivier was Executive Vice President of Products & Services, based in Norway. In this role, Olivier was responsible for the teams managing Kongsberg Maritime’s products portfolio aligned with market demands and future trends, such as autonomous operations and digital performance. Olivier was responsible for Kongsberg Maritime’s strategic initiative around Information Management System and Smart Data.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the tech industry, King has worked at various tech companies, honing his expertise on system automation for storage and cloud products. Before launching ioCurrents, King was part of the original engineering team at Isilon Systems as they grew from startup to a global storage industry leader acquired by EMC. King is an industry expert in cloud computing, distributed systems, data storage, and security. Having grown up on the Chesapeake Bay and now calling the Pacific Northwest home, King was inspired to start ioCurrents after working with geospatial IoT and sensor data and seeing the benefits that edge analysis technology could provide to the maritime industry.
