Cigars & Startups talking about funding with VendorTerm
February 27 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This event is the best event in Seattle for entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, cigar curators, and supporters to connect socially around cigars & libations.
For February Cigars & Startups Patrick Woloveck from VendorTerm is going to be our guest speaker.
Patrick is Head of Partnerships at VendorTerm where he helps startups grow faster with non-dilutive growth capital. Day to day he partners with founders, accelerators, and VC portfolio companies.
Previously, he founded Knowledge Base Capital: an intellectual property lending marketplace. He is a 2x entrepreneur with an expertise in business development and acquisition marketing. His passion for creating was developed through being an early employee at multiple venture backed New York City startups.
VendorTerm provides non-dilutive growth capital for startups and agencies. They purchase your invoices, paying you within 2 days and then collect on the original invoice amount at the later date.
The company is based in NYC and has factored over $11M in invoices to date; capital can be used for whatever you want, i.e. growth, marketing, hiring, payroll, etc.
No personal guarantee, no setup, no integration, no statements or banking information required.
He is also staying in town for the Thursday after Cigars & startups for meetings, in the morning of the 28th he is doing meetings at Galvanize in Seattle and in the afternoon at my office in Bellevue. Ideal companies he’d like to meet: Venture backed, >$500k revenue, Industry agnostic, Individual invoices >$10k upwards of 7 figures.
As always, FK Kirsten will be hooking us up with Cigars and Zccounting.com will be buying a spread of food.
Thank you to our generous sponsors Karr Tuttle Campbell, Algorithm Tax Group, Lowe Graham Jones, Gusto.
PS I am looking to bring in guest speakers who have had recent exits, please send referrals
As always, your event fee does not buy cigars as that would be against the law, but I will have ample cigars from my “personal collection thanks to FK Kirsten” that I will be sharing with everyone who attends. So please register before the event, for the inconvenience of having to charge you on the spot, I’m going to charge you $40 if you don’t pre-register.
