Oculus, the virtual reality company owned by Facebook, has upped its presence in the Seattle area.

Citing two sources who did not want to be identified, the Puget Sound Business Journal reports Oculus has leased a full floor at Home Plate Center, an office complex across the street from Safeco Field. It is unclear exactly how much space the lease represents, but available floors on the building’s website range from about 35,000 square feet to about 43,000 square feet.

In 2015, Oculus leased 51,000 square feet at the Stadium Innovation Center, which is next door to Home Plate. The two complexes were both developed by the same company, American Life Inc.

A source told GeekWire earlier this year that Oculus planned to expand at Home Plate Center. American Life and Oculus representatives did not immediately return a request for comment.

Oculus has been expanding rapidly in Seattle over the last few years. Oculus moved into the 51,000-square-foot space last year. Around the same time it picked up more than 100,000 square feet on the east side of Lake Washington in Redmond for research and development.

Oculus is one of several big virtual reality companies operating in Seattle. Microsoft of course is based in Redmond and has its HoloLens mixed reality headset. Valve, which works on the Vive VR headset with HTC, last year inked a lease for a big expansion in Bellevue.
