Lime is bringing its signature green, rentable electric scooters back to Redmond, Wash., March 1.
- Lime scooters were available in the city, where Microsoft is headquartered, throughout 2019. The mobility company pulled them off streets during the winter months.
- The service appears to be a hit with commuters; more than 60 percent of Redmond scooter rides in 2019 involved a connection to or from work, according to Lime. The scooters are often spotted on Microsoft’s campus.
- Lime is launching new subscription services in Redmond, including Group Ride, which allows travelers to purchase rides in bulk and a weekly LimePass. Without a subscription, it costs $1 to unlock a Lime scooter and 36 cents per minute of ride time.
