The GeekWire Summit returns this week, in an all-new virtual format, exploring the future of science, health, technology and what’s next in innovation.

The activities begin at 11 a.m. Pacific time on Tuesday (today!) with sessions planned over the next three weeks in the late mornings and early afternoons on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Oct. 29. Register for tickets here, and join nearly 1,000 other entrepreneurs, innovators and scientists for a discussion about the future.

This week’s highlights include:

  • The Race to the COVID-19 Vaccine: An in-depth panel featuring top scientists offering insights on what it will take to safely roll out a vaccine in the coming months. (Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. PT)
  • Leadership in Tumultuous Times: How Organizations Can Embrace Civic Responsibility: Technology leaders discuss how they’re leading their organizations during a renewed movement for social justice, a global pandemic, an economic recession and an election year. (Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 12:10 p.m. PT)
  • Fireside chat with Bill Gates: Global health. Climate change. The future of innovation. We’ll talk with the co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation about these topics and more in this exclusive GeekWire Summit interview. (Thursday, Oct. 15 at 2:30 p.m. PT)

All sessions will be available to Summit attendees live and on-demand, but you need a ticket to tune in. Don’t forget to register by going here.

This is the ninth year of the GeekWire Summit, our signature technology conference. Even as we’ve shifted to a virtual format this year, our goal remains the same — to bring the community together for insights and inspiration, exploring new ways that innovation, science, technology and entrepreneurship can help propel us forward as a society. Many of our speakers were chosen with this hopeful belief in mind.
