Vacasa users can now search for and book vacation rentals on Google, thanks to a new integration with the search giant.

Vacasa said in a press release it is the first vacation rental company to directly integrate with Google. Through Google’s hotel search function, Vacasa’s more than 14,000 vacation rentals will now appear on interactive maps that customers can peruse to see what’s available. Users will then be funneled to Vacasa’s website when they pick a vacation home to book on Google.

“Partnering with Google to make the homes we manage available through the search engine is yet another way for us to drive exceptional financial returns for our homeowners,” Vacasa CEO Eric Breon said in a statement. “Travelers who are accustomed to staying in a hotel may now consider alternative accommodations, such as a Vacasa vacation rental, as our unique, professionally managed rentals will appear within their Google search.”

Vacasa is based in Portland, Ore. and it is the second-ranked company on the GeekWire 200 list of the Pacific Northwest’s top startups. Vacasa said in July it will pay approximately $162 million to acquire Wyndham Vacation Rentals from publicly-traded Wyndham Destinations.

The deal includes $45 million in cash and $30 million in equity. It is expected to close this fall, with full integration taking place by fall of 2020.

The Wyndham deal came a month after Vacasa announced another big acquisition: Seattle-based vacation rental operator Sea to Sky Rentals.
