Former EnergySavvy COO Scott Case was named entrepreneur-in-residence at the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds, part of the University of Washington Clean Energy Institute.

Case spent 10 years with EnergySavvy, which developed software for electric and natural gas utilities, before the company was acquired in early 2019. He is also the co-founder and board chair of the non-profit coding school Ada Developers Academy.

In his new part-time role, Case will mentor entrepreneurs and early stage startups focused on cleantech innovations. The Testbeds was created to accelerate the development of new technologies in solar harvesting, energy storage and system integration.

“Scott’s energy startup experience and passion for helping other cleantech innovators will benefit clean energy students and the region’s cleantech community,” said Devin MacKenzie, Washington Clean Energy Testbeds technical director, in a statement.

HR executive Britt Provost joined Accolade as executive vice president of people and culture. She previously held roles at Promethean, Apptio and Avanade.

Provost was originally a customer of Accolade, utilizing the personalized health advocacy platform at a previous company.

“I’m so proud to join this team – a team that supports all of our members with expertise, empathy and technology” Provost said.

The healthcare tech company led by longtime Seattle-area tech executives Raj Singh and Mike Hilton, announced plans earlier in 2019 to double its headcount in Seattle, its second headquarters. Accolade is currently #6 on the GeekWire 200.

Marchex hired John Roswech as the call analytics company’s new chief revenue officer leading the sales and customer success organizations. Roswech will split his time between Marchex’s Seattle headquarters and New York City office.

Roswech most recently the executive vice president for brand solutions at Criteo which acquired HookLogic where he was CRO. As president of Jingle Networks, Roswech previously crossed paths with his new employer after Marchex acquired the advertising technology company.
