Two leading Seattle tech companies announced the departures of their chief financial officers Thursday, tied to their fourth-quarter earnings reports.

Tableau CFO Tom Walker is stepping down after more than 13 years with the data visualization company. Walker will take a six-month sabbatical after handing the reigns over to Tableau finance VP Damon Fletcher. Fletcher will serve as interim CFO as Tableau searches for a permanent replacement for Walker.

Meanwhile, Impinj announced its CFO, Evan Fein, will leave the RFID company March 30. Fein has been with Impinj for 17 years.

“I have decided to spend more time with family and to pursue other opportunities,” Fein said in a statement. “I am committed to supporting a smooth transition.”

Impinj did not offer any further details on the reason for Fein’s departure. GeekWire reached out to Tableau for additional details. We will update this story if we hear back.

Tableau announced Walker’s exit in its Q4 earnings report. The company reported $877.1 million in revenue for 2017, a six percent year-over-year increase.

Impinj released an estimate for Q4 but the company’s official earnings report will not be out until Feb. 15. Impinj expects revenue for the fourth quarter of 2017 to be between $29 million and $30 million.
