Drones may be expensive, but U.S. consumers are still buying them. A new report from The NPD Group found that U.S. drone sales were up 117 percent year-over-year from this past February. Drones that cost more than $300 drove 84 percent of dollar sales but just 40 percent of unit sales. Drones with a price tag of $1,000 or more saw the highest rate of sales. See the report here.
