Good news for those feeling constrained by Twitter’s 140-character limit when conversing with other users on the social media platform. The company announced today that “@usernames” will no longer count toward the character limit. As part of the change, Twitter also made a few design tweaks for conversations. Twitter first started moving away from the 140-character limit this past May.
