The big streaming television services — Netflix, Amazon, Hulu — don’t share their ratings like traditional broadcast outlets do, but The Hollywood Reporter has done some digging to determine which shows are the most popular on each platform.

In a report this week, THR said that Parrot Analytics developed a “demand expressions” measurement that was based on streams, viewers, engagement and more to determine which series have the biggest audiences.

Here are the top five for each of those services:

Amazon:

  • “The Man in the High Castle”
  • “The Tick”
  • “The Grand Tour”
  • “Transparent”
  • “Comrade Detective”

Netflix:

  • “Narcos”
  • “Stranger Things”
  • “Ozark”
  • “Orange is the New Black”
  • “Marvel’s The Defenders”

Hulu:

  • “The Handmaid’s Tale”
  • “11.22.63”
  • “The Path”
  • “Chance”
  • “Harlots”

There’s some great binging to be done if you’re behind on anything on those lists. And “The Handmaid’s Tale” was the big winner at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards, becoming the first streaming show to win best drama series.

THR says subscription video-on-demand was an $8.2 billion industry last year and that number is expected to climb to $14.03 billion by 2021.
