Microsoft Stream, a video service that helps companies organize those boring training videos for their employees, is now generally available, the company announced Tuesday.

Stream was introduced last July, and Office 365 Enterprise customers can now put it through the paces as the eventual replacement for Office 365 Video. Companies that produce a lot of internal video, from the aforementioned training videos to sales collateral to fun outtakes from the holiday party, now have a new repository where they can upload, search for, and share videos inside the organization.

Microsoft tacked on a few new bells and whistles in the gap between Stream’s introduction last year and the general availability release. Searchable transcriptions of videos allows you to skip right to the part you’re interested in watching just by typing in a keyword, and face recognition technology identifies which employees are in a given video. This product also works across Microsoft’s workplace collaboration tools, including Teams and Yammer.
