Anyone who’s visited a hospital or clinic in the United States knows that being a healthcare consumer is a difficult job. Dealing with complicated medical and insurance systems while worrying about your health make for one bad customer experience.

Accolade, a healthcare tech startup led by former Concur leaders Raj Singh and Mike Hilton, is hoping to change that with its artificial intelligence-fueled healthcare technology solutions, and the company is seeking engineers to join its team.

One open position is for the company’s lead software development engineer in services, who will head engineering efforts for the micro services that make up Accolade’s cloud platform.

The engineer will work with Accolade’s product management team to define the scope and requirements of their projects and will hire and build a team to deliver them. They will need excellent management skills and a can-do attitude to fill these requirements.

But this position is still a technical one, responsible for designing, architecting and delivering the micro services that fuel Accolade’s platform. The engineer will need a solid understanding of full stack web development on open source technologies and a foundation in modern DevOps culture.
