We’re less than a month away from the GeekWire Cloud Tech Summit, an immersive day-long technical conference that will bring together leading technologists, business leaders and entrepreneurs to learn what’s next in the world of cloud computing.

Early-bird ticket rates end Friday, so make sure to grab your tickets here to this inaugural event before prices go up. We also have a special 5-pack of tickets, in case your company wants to send out a team of developers and engineers to learn what’s next in DevOps, serverless computing, artificial intelligence and more.

The GeekWire Cloud Tech Summit — taking place June 7 at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington — will kickoff with a fireside chat with Microsoft Azure chief Scott Guthrie who will provide a roadmap for where he sees Azure and the cloud industry heading. That will be followed by morning “Power Talks” from Abby Kearns, executive director of the Cloud Foundry Foundation, Swami Sivasubramanian, vice president of Amazon AI, and Heptio co-founder Joe Beda, the co-creator of Kubernetes. Docker COO Scott Johnston also will join for a fireside chat, as will Sam Ramji of Google Cloud.

Things will get really fun in the afternoon, with three technical tracks featuring some of the top minds in DevOps; Microservices and Serverless Computing; and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We expect our attendees to geek out in these interactive and smaller-sized technical sessions, digging deep into issues that may impact their companies today or in the future.

Sessions include:

  • The Operating System for AI: How Microservices and Serverless Computing Enable the Next Generation of Machine Intelligence. —Algorithmia CEO Diego Oppenheimer
  • DevOps and Machine Learning: How do you test and deploy real-time machine learning services given the challenge that machine learning algorithms produce nondeterministic behaviors even for the same input.—Jasjeet Thind, VP of Data Science & Engineering, Data Science and Economics at Zillow
  • DevOps: Getting Beyond the Happy Talk: Learn how a common software delivery platform is critical to streamline and scale DevOps adoption across the organization and how to automate across four critical dimensions: infrastructure provisioning, builds, validation, and deployments.Shippable CEO Avi Cavale

In addition, we’ll host a business track in the afternoon with speakers such as REI CIO Julie Averill talking about the outdoor retailers move to the cloud and a venture capital panel featuring Frank Artale of Ignition; Shelia Gulati of Tola Capital and Soma Somasegar of Madrona Venture Group, who will discuss the latest startup opportunities in cloud computing.

The event will conclude with a closing party at the new Bellevue Salesforce office, which GeekWire readers recently chosen as the “Geekiest Office Space” in the GeekWire Awards.

We hope that you can join us for this  first-ever event to learn the latest developments in containers, serverless, machine learning, microservices and much more.

The Cloud Tech Summit is ideal for developers, engineers, IT administrators, entrepreneurs, investors and other technical minds who want to stay abreast of the major trends in computing today, taking the skills and knowledge they learn back to their own companies to make sure they stay competitive in a fast-changing world.

Early-bird tickets available here through Friday!
