The GeekWire Cloud Tech Summit is taking place this Wednesday, June 7th, and we’ve got an amazing lineup of speakers and activities in store for our first-ever technical conference.

We’ll be diving deep into everything from DevOps to Docker, and we’re thrilled that so many will be joining us.

If you’re attending the Cloud Tech Summit, here’s everything you need to know about the event.

Date and Time: June 7, 2017, from 7:45 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Agenda: Registration, located in the main lobby of Meydenbauer Center, opens at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, followed by a welcome and introduction at 8:50 a.m., leading directly into our first session, a fireside chat with Microsoft Azure chief Scott Guthrie.

In the afternoon, attendees will have the option to choose among three separate technical tracks: DevOps, Microservices/Serverless and Artificial Intelligence. Note: These technical sessions are first come, first-served in terms of securing a seat. We also will host a business track on the main stage in the afternoon, featuring a venture capital panel, a media panel and a startup showcase. The event will conclude with a Cloud Summit Party at Salesforce’s stunning new Bellevue offices.

Cloud Party at Salesforce: Join us at the Seattle region’s “Geekiest Office Space” for a fun closing party. Appetizers, beverages and amazing views to be provided. Immerse yourself in a rollercoaster or Mt. Everest VR experience, and enter a drawing to win an Oculus headset.  The Salesforce office — located at 929 108th Ave NE, Bellevue — is just two blocks from Meydenbauer Center, a short 9-minute walk.

Lunch: Boxed lunches will be provided to registered attendees, and tables will be set in the main exhibitor area. We also encourage attendees to check out the sponsored lunch talk by Marcus Womack of Axon, whose talk will cover how the cloud is being used to build trust between law enforcement and the public.
