Looking for a new job? Looking for new friends? Just want to have some fun on a Thursday?

The Washington Technology Industry Association has you covered with its Downtown Seattle Tech Crawl, a choose-your-own-adventure tour of some of Seattle’s tech staples and rising stars.

It’s a chance to get a peek inside companies like Avvo, ExtraHop and many more, all while eating, drinking and playing some good old geek games. If you’re in the market for a new workplace, there will also be recruiters at each stop to chat with and drop off a resume.

Things will kick off at the Coterie Worklounge coworking space at  4 p.m. on Thursday, June 29. From there attendees get a map to the other Tech Crawl spots and get to make it up as they go, wrapping up at 7 p.m.

There’s nothing like a little urban exploration to kick off summer in Seattle — but, of course, it’s still June so don’t forget a rain jacket!

That’s one of the highlights from our GeekWire community calendar, the spot for geek and tech events in Seattle and the greater Pacific Northwest. See the full calendar here, submit your event here and keep reading for more suggested events over the next few weeks.
