Travelers with access to the Delta Sky Club at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s Concourse S will now also have access to information and entertainment via Microsoft devices and technology.

“Delta Sky Club, Built on Microsoft Technologies” launched on Tuesday as a three-month program to bring unique experiences to guests visiting the club. According to a news release, the space includes:

  • Custom content on Microsoft Surface Hubs including flight information, maps, SKY Magazine articles and things to do in popular destinations around the country.
  • Seattle Sounders highlights on a 55-inch HD TV.
  • Xbox One games on a 70-inch HD TV.

That all sounds pretty cool compared to sitting out in the terminal somewhere hunched over a smartphone that is running out of juice. Also, at least for the big reveal and ribbon cutting, Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman was on hand, signing footballs and posing for photos.

“We are constantly striving to go above and beyond for our guests,” Claude Roussell, managing director for Delta Sky Club, said in a statement. “The expansion of our partnership with Microsoft represents our commitment to providing guests with the best of what Seattle has to offer.”

Delta is the largest global carrier at Sea-Tac. The airline has invested heavily in its clubs at the airport, where it recently opened a second, 21,000square-foot club between Concourses A and B. That club features views of Mount Rainier, an in-house Asanda spa, menus curated by Seattle chef Ethan Stowell and wine lists by sommelier Andrea Robinson. It’s the third largest Sky Club in Delta’s system.
