Another co-working company is coming to Seattle.
Industrious, a New York-based company that bills itself as a “high-end” co-working provider, will open its first Seattle location this fall. It will be a 28,000-square foot office in the Sixth and Lenora Building, across the street from Amazon’s new headquarters campus and the landmark Spheres.
The space will be on the sixth and seventh floors and have more than 80 private offices starting at $500 per month. Industrious will also offer conference rooms, private phone areas, local coffee and pastries and a mother’s room.
Industrious was founded in 2013, and the company’s co-founder and president Justin Stewart said: “we’ve been searching for our flagship Seattle location for a couple of years and are thrilled that we found a space in such a perfect location with a ton of natural light.”
As Seattle’s tech cache continues to rise, it has become a hotspot for co-working spaces and other startup spaces. The flexible, short-term leases can make for a great option for startups that don’t know what their company could look like even a year or two down the road.
Co-working offices are also popular destinations for big tech companies establishing engineering offices in Seattle. One of the latest examples is Airbnb, which last year set up shop at a WeWork location in Seattle before leasing a permanent office in town.
