Avanade, the tech consulting and services company born out of a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft, has acquired Infusion, a software engineering and design firm with 600 employees in New York and elsewhere.
Financial terms were not disclosed on Tuesday, but a news release touted the deal as a way for Seattle-based Avanade to expand its delivery of digital transformation services while reinforcing “its position as the leading digital innovator in the Microsoft ecosystem.”
“We are delighted to welcome the Infusion team to the Avanade family,” Mick Slattery, president of Avanade North America, said in a statement. “This acquisition brings together two organizations whose cultures are based on a client-first approach to digital transformation. In this time of unprecedented change in the marketplace, it also reaffirms our commitment to bringing bold and fresh experiences to our clients and their customers.”

Infusion has digital expertise in application modernization, customer experience, enterprise productivity, business insights and emerging technologies, working with clients in financial services, insurance and capital markets as well as oil and gas, retail, healthcare, education, and travel and leisure industries.
The company has seven global offices — New York; Raleigh, N.C.; Houston; Toronto; London; Krakow, Poland; and Wroclaw, Poland.
