Finding street parking in Seattle may not be getting any easier, but coping with the shock of an expensive ticket will be a little less painful thanks to a new promotion from Luxe, the on-demand valet service.
Until Feb. 2, Luxe is offering “parking ticket amnesty,” where the company will match the price of your parking ticket up to $100 in Luxe credits. So if you burn through your allotted time on a meter, or block someone’s driveway and get caught, just take a picture. Tweet your ticket to @luxevalet using the hashtag #ParkingProblems and tell them what happened.
Luxe says it will reward credits to entries which exhibit the most creativity and originality. A few new tweets from frustrated drivers show the promotion in action:

Luxe, a San Francisco-based startup, launched in Seattle in May and offers a way for people to hail a valet driver who will pick up your car, park it in a nearby lot, and return it to you at any location within 15 minutes of a request. The company charges $5 per hour, with a maximum of $15 per day.
