If you’re one of those people who are constantly misplacing your wallet, this one’s for you. Dutch company Mijlo has launched a Kickstarter for Where’s Wallet.
A “smart wallet you’ll never lose,” according to the campaign, it works fairly simply. Each sleek wallet contains a sensor you sync to your smartphone to alert you if you leave your wallet behind. You download the free app, set a notification range up to 150 feet, and your phone/wallet will alert you if you go beyond that range, the app guiding you back to your wallet.
With prices ranging from $49 to $99, each wallet is slim and attractive, and features three designs, the slip, bi-fold and clutch available in multiple colors. The company is also working to eventually sync the Apple Watch with the wallets, too.
The Kickstarter launched this a.m. and so far has 55 backers pledging nearly $4,000. With 39 days to go, the goal is to reach $30,000. A $39 pledge gets you the Smart Slip version of the wallet.
