Why the jacket? Co-founder Hiral Sanghavi, who started the company with his wife/designer Yoganshi, says that the pair came up with the idea while he was flying back and forth from San Fran to Chicago. She lived on the West Coast, and he was getting his MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern. Carrying all the gear was tiring him out, and the duo thought there must be a better way to carry and organize your gadgets in transit.
Turns out they were right. Once you see how easy it is to cruise through airport security, you’ll want one. It’s no wonder that this Kickstarter has already surpassed its $20,000 goal with more than $140,000 with 56 days to go.
A lot of the early bird deals are sold out, but you can get a sweatshirt for $99. The jackets are expected to ship in November.
