SpaceX has officially arrived in Seattle.

As shown in these photos, posted to Facebook by the Cornish College of the Arts, the company’s Dragon space capsule has been delivered to Seattle Center in advance of a private event tonight where company founder Elon Musk is expected to mark the opening of a SpaceX engineering office in the region.

After the Seattle Center event, the spacecraft will be delivered to the Museum of Flight, where it will be on display through the weekend. The Dragon was the first commercial spacecraft to resupply the International Space Station.

The events cap a week of big news from SpaceX, starting with Musk’s confirmation on Tuesday that the company will open an office in the Seattle region, with plans to hire as many as 1,000 people over the next several years. Although the company didn’t announce a specific location, permit filings found by GeekWire revealed that the office is in Redmond, just down the road from Microsoft.
