Microsoft is having some fun with Windows today and bringing back its popular ninja cat with a few new looks.

According to a blog post, Microsoft created the new ninja cat images in anticipation of the Windows 10 release date, just eight days away.

“We’ve noticed our Windows Insiders having a lot of fun with a particular cat…the ninjacat,” states the post. “It’s been so fun to see Insiders rally around the ninjacat as a fun icon for Windows 10 and for Microsoft.”

While the community has created several variations of the ninja cat, the MS team shows us a few new ones, the ninja cat on the T. Rex and these awesome images below:

Ninja cat makes one more appearance today, too, in Skype, riding that T. Rex.

Microsoft admits that its ninja cat is based on the original, a “Welcome to the Internet” image by Jason Heuser. From now until Windows 10 launch, they’re encouraging users to also “mix and match” their own ninja cat creations and tweet them using #windows10 and #ninjacat. Microsoft will post its favorites of the batch, too.

Ninja cat fighting off a shark attack, Mick Fanning style? Someone please, mock that up pronto.
