Has your company had its holiday party yet? Chances are, it’s not going to be the kind of bash that Zillow Group threw yesterday.
The tech boom times are translating into big holiday plans for many area companies, as noted earlier this week by the Seattle Times, but the online real estate company put together the granddaddy of them all, complete with three bands and two DJs. The company also continued its tradition of surprising employees with a gift.
And this year’s gift was … an Apple TV with a custom remote featuring the logos of the Zillow Group brands.

The gift was especially satisfying to employees who worked on Zillow for Apple TV. Last year’s gifts were a Kindle Fire and Fitbit.
Zillow is wrapping up an epic year, as we reported in November, including the acquisition of former rival Trulia. In addition to its Seattle employees, a Zillow rep told us that about 1,000 Zillow employees made the trek from across the country for Zillow Group Week, where the speakers included Zillow co-founder and chairman Rich Barton.
