There are plenty of ways to keep track of your trips. TripIt keeps robust itineraries with all your travel plans, or you could go old-school with a OneNote notebook full or travel notes. But everything you need is probably already in your email inbox — you just have to find it first.
Google’s Inbox email app already collected some of that trip information in one spot, but today, the company announced an update that makes those trip bundles easier to share.
That means you don’t have to forward your mom a billion emails over terrible airport WiFi right before your plane board; just open the trip bundle, hit the new forward button, and she’ll get all the pertinent information in an easy-to-read format.
You can also add emails to a trip with the existing “Move to…” function. Say you got tickets to a show or have an outline of activities you want to do while you’re in town. Now, you can just move emails with those details to your trip and they’ll show up in the bundle.
Adding media is also about to get easier on the mobile app. A new preview ribbon will pop up when you hit the attachment button, showing you a preview of your most recent photos. From there, you can still open up the camera or other photo albums, but this should make adding your most recent snaps to an email a lot quicker.
All these features are rolling out this week, the company says.
