Screen Shot 2013-11-26 at 10.55.24 AMIf you’re interested in taking your friends and family on a virtual vacation this Thanksgiving, Google Maps has you covered with some new interior views of Seattle’s Museum of Flight and the LeMay Museum.

The additions are a part of the company’s latest update to Street View. While Google is promoting the addition of transit stations and airports to its mapping products worldwide, the company has also quietly added a number of views of two Seattle-area museums, as well as a number of other museums relating to transportation.

The views are astonishing: you’ll be able to get an up-close and personal look at each museum’s collection, without having to leave your home. It’s part of Google’s continuing effort to map museums and other places of interest that aren’t quite covered by its Street View cars.

In addition to looking around those museums, you’re also now able to get a peek at a variety of international airports, like Gatwick in England and Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands. If your holiday travel plans include a stop overseas, those looks might be useful.

To check out Google’s new views, you can find the Museum of Flight here, and LeMay Museum here.
