Eggers

RealNetworks continues to churn through top executives, with the Seattle digital media company announcing today in a SEC filing that Michael Eggers has resigned as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Eggers had worked at the company for 14 years, and according to the filing “has decided to step down to pursue other career opportunities.”

He will work with the company through April 15th. The company is currently seeking a replacement, and has engaged an executive search firm to help with the process.

The news follows the appointment of former Adobe executive Thomas Nielsen as CEO. He joined the company in early November.

Over the past 12 months a number of executives have left Real, including CEO Bob Kimball and chief strategy officer Hank Skorny.
