Cozi, which has nearly 8 million users for its family organization tools, is expanding its lineup to help parents find babysitters and train the next Picasso.

The Cozi Family Locator App for Android.

The Seattle-based startup released four new apps Wednesday: Cozi Sitter Finder, Cozi Kids Coloring+, Cozi Password Vault and Cozi Family Locator.

The current free Cozi app, which works across iOS, Android and the internet, helps organize family life with shared calendars, grocery shopping lists and family journals.

Here are the four new apps:

  • The Cozi Family Locator is free and does exactly what you’d think: locates family members. A Family GPS Location map shows parents where their children are and kids can also use a safety status alert function during emergencies. A premium offering for $4.99/month includes emergency identification, family identity protection and lost item recovery. It’s available for Android, with an iPhone version in the works.
  • The Cozi Sitter Finder is available for $.99 on the iPhone only and helps schedule and communicate with babysitters. Parents add contact info and their favorite sitters’ info with a day and time for babysitting. The Sitter Finder will then text or email potential candidates, who can respond with a yes or no that is sent back to the parents.
  • The Cozi Kids Coloring+ app is available for the iPad for $1.99 and keeps children entertained with coloring books.
  • The Cozi Password Vault is available for the iPhone for $1.99 and provides a safe way to keep track of passwords for family accounts.

“Millions of families rely on Cozi Family Organizer to help manage their busy schedules, and the majority of them are using their smartphones to do so,” said Cozi CEO and co-founder Robbie Cape in a news release. “Now we’re expanding our focus to build apps that solve other problems modern families face. Families, and especially moms, tell us they are looking for technology that helps them streamline everyday life.”
