UI Software Engineer

Role Description:

These newly-created FTE positions will provide UI programming and development expertise as part of a team building a platform for delivering mobile and web-based solutions for our customers. The qualified candidates will be a skilled software developers with experience in user interface programming for innovative, consistent mobile solutions across multiple OS systems. You will add your proven expertise to a broader team that includes outstanding product management, engineering and business development talent.



Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the product management and design teams to deliver technical solutions that power highly-effective UX/UI designs and experiences.
• Prototyping and developing iterative B2B and B2B2C applications in social media, mobile and web-based platforms based on the lean startup development model.
• Work with the engineering and operations teams to launch these applications.



Requirements:

• B.S., or higher, degree in computer science, mathematics or other relevant technical discipline.
o 3 years of experience shipping active consumer applications that deliver social media and mobile user experiences.
o 2 years of demonstrated experience in JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, JSON, PHP, XML/XSL/XSD, XHTML, CSS.
o Experience using at least one of the high-level languages, such as C#, Java or Objective C.
o Strong UI and usability dev skills.
o Experience in Sprint/SCRUM-based agile, rapid development models.
o Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft Visual Studio a plus, but not required.

• Additional Required Competencies:
o A solid understanding of web server management and multiple internet protocols.
o The ability to translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences from design mockups and prototypes to working applications.
o Highly creative, solid interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
o Maturity, solid experience working as a full time employee, and a desire to be a part of something new are essential.
