Sr. Lead Developer

Bringing great user experience to life is at the core of what EveryMove does. We are looking for a developer with a passion to create delightful, engaging and remarkable user experiences on the web that people will enjoy and come back for more. Our team already has designers, developers and UX experts, and we need to augment that with a strong developer to influence and help us execute on the product vision. You will be involved in all aspects of the software development process, methodologies, and tools used by the product team.

Some of the qualities we expect you to have:

• You have a passion for data visualization, that is presenting data in new and interesting ways to end users.


• You have great UX taste and knowledge of UI design patterns.


• You are a fast coder, and you ship high quality features the first time.


• You are not focused on the perfect solution for a problem, but rather the best solution given the time constraints. You have an attitude towards getting things done.


• You have great attention to detail, but at the same time you know when you have reached the point of diminishing returns.


• You have worked in a startup like environment in the past, and are able to work in an unstructured, ambiguous, ever changing, and self-driven environment.


• You have a passion for the consumer space, and in particular the health and fitness area.


• You are able to easily operate as an individual to get things done independently, but also as a team player to work together towards a goal.

Some of the specific skills we expect you to have:

• Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, Linq, ASP.NET MVC with Razor, IIS)


• Web technologies (HTML, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript)


• Networking and social APIs (OAuth, Twitter, Facebook Connect).


• Excellent written English communication skills.

This is a full-time position in Seattle (no telecommuting). Compensation is competitive, including salary, bonus, equity, health plan, and vacation time. As a core member of the EveryMove team, your career will advance forward by 10 years in a 3 year time period.
