What you’ll be doing…
As Software Engineer, Team Lead for the Core team, you will oversee a small team of Software Engineers (3 – 5 direct reports) who will design and develop software for a next-generation Visual Analytics and Collaboration suite. You and your team will be focused on building innovative technology providing an interactive analytic experience using large data sets. You will be challenged to leverage your creativity and experience to create new products that extend customer ability to see, understand, and “reach out and touch” their large data sets in real time. The position will provide many interesting, hard-core technical challenges and as much responsibility as you can handle. Some of the things you’ll be doing include being responsible for the day-to-day oversight of a small team of engineers (3 – 5 direct reports) plus the technical and architectural oversight of features or feature areas assigned to the team. You will schedule and manage team resources for their projects, triages and assign bugs to team members. You will be responsible for yearly performance assessment of your team.

Who you are …
To be successful in this role you will need prior experience leading a small team of developers and possess a strong background that includes Windows technologies and development tools. You will use your excellent understanding of C++ and experience implementing large-scale C++ systems on Windows platforms to develop high performance, scalable, multi-threaded software. You will need at least 7+ years developing software with a focus on design and architecture skills. Having significant experience with SQL, database internals and a demonstrated ability to deliver packaged software solutions to customers is a must. Familiarity with OLAP, MDX and data warehousing is a plus.
