The Position:

We are seeking an experienced and mature developer to join our team in building an enterprise-class software-as-a-service offering. You will be a key member of a team of highly skilled individuals working on hard problems. You will own the solution to our data acquisition strategy from start to finish. This area is highly-visibility and high-impact to both our external customers and internal teams. This means everything from understanding the customer use cases and owning the solution, all the way from design to deployment and operations. The ideal candidate will be a solid Java developer, exceptionally collaborative, and have experience in building and supporting scalable, secure, and performant client/server solutions. You must be a highly prolific coder and have experience leading a small team of entry level engineers.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
•Strong Customer focus.
•Demonstrated leadership role in building and delivering complex software systems. Specifically in client/server and enterprise systems.
•Experience in deploying and supporting client side software for Windows and/or Linux.
•Experience in building both front end and backend solutions.
•Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures.
•Demonstrated experience with best SDLC practices: coding standards, reviews, code management, build processes, and testing.
•Experience in working with customers, product management, and senior management to deliver value to customers.
•Passion, energy and the desire to work very hard to deliver cool software.
•Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Experience in mentoring more junior engineers.
•B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
•6+ years’ experience as a Software Development Engineer.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
•Experience with ETL solutions.
•Experience in a SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS environment.
•Operational experience in delivering against SLAs to either consumer or enterprise customers.
