Description

This position is full time, contact with the possibility of permanent placement. The job responsibilities are:

• Test Case Execution, Troubleshooting and Reporting
o Execute test cases, generate reports and appropriate statistics
o Monitor product quality

• Test Case Development
o Develop test plans, especially for performance testing
o Create regression test data sets and software suites

• Planning and Maintenance
o Plan development activities using SCRUM with your team members to release candidate quality code each iteration
o Participate in improving the software development process with your team by recommending best practices
o Ensure goals fulfill end-user requirements, identify and resolve systems issues

Qualifications

Desired:

• BS engineering, computer science or equivalent software engineering experience
• 3+ years software testing
• 2+ years RDBMS software development (SQL, T-SQL)
• 2+ years Web client-side (Java, Javascript, JQuery and/or Ext JS)
• 1+ years Web server-side (PHP, ASP, and/or CFM)
• 1+ years scripting (shell, perl, python, and/or ruby)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional analytical, enterprise-minded and innovative problem solving abilities
• Test automation using Selenium
• Experience writing automated performance, stress, and load tests
• Experience with JMeter and PHP Unit
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jasmine
• Experience with Web Services (AJAX)
• Experience with Design Patterns
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Lean, …)
• Experience with multiple agile tools (Fogbugz, Jira, Teamtrack, …)
• Experience with multiple SCM tools (SVN, Perforce, CVS, ClearCase, …)
