Senior UI/UX Designer

We are in need of an amazing user interface/user experience designer to own and manage Buddy's visual presence and product. Primary responsibilities include design and UX responsibility for Buddy.com, the Buddy Developer Dashboard, the Buddy Publisher Dashboard and custom analytics design for premium customers seeking a bespoke view into how their apps are performing. Much more than a web or app design role, this individual will be defining how our customers interact with nearly every piece of the Buddy Platform - and as such, we consider this to be a pivotal role in the company. This individual will be pixel-level meticulous, passionate and at the cutting edge of design best practices.

Responsibilities

Work in a small team environment to design, re-design, evolve and pivot as needed. This is a role whose output is subjective and not absolute. Be prepared to try, fail, try, succeed - and repeat

Listen to, process and take action upon feedback with creativity and a positive attitude

Establish design guidelines for the company, act as our "creative police" and ensure that our visual messaging is consistent across all channels

Directly engage with customers, providing amazing UX views into app analytics data, helping generate incredible customer love

Have design responsibility for Buddy's web properties, customer interfaces and art direction over premium customer analytics deliverables.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience working with digital creative tools on commercial projects

A demonstrable portfolio of exceptional digital creative output, preferably for brands

Experience taking big data sets and visualizing that data creatively for consumption by a marketing, branding or advertising exec-level audience

Strong understanding of mobile design, typography, iconography, infographics and data visualization

Fluency in Adobe's suite of creative professional tools (Creative Suite, etc…)

BA, MA or equivalent in Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or Visual Arts

Relentlessly passionate but plays well with others.
