GENERAL

Postmates is rapidly expanding into new markets and we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager with 3+ years experience in operations, management or marketing, who is responsible for the development, growth and success of our products in Seattle. The Operations Manager is a hands on job that is directly responsible for the day to day management of Postmates in a market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruit and manage our supply chain (courier onboarding)
Monitor courier behavior, performance and manage supply scheduling and efficiencies
Work with engineering to improve on-boarding and management
Run deep analytics for recruiting and expansion
Work with City General Manager to manage P&L and courier payroll

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of operational management experience
Strong communication skills
Focus on analytics and program results
Data-driven decision making
Development and expansion of a customer base and ability to generate repeat business
Deliver results on time-sensitive projects
Pro-actively develop plans to address new challenges and opportunities
You should be comfortable working in a startup environment and participating in individual and group critiques.
