The Position:
•Advocate for the customer at all times.
•Own all aspects of testing for your functional area including manual, automated, and performance testing.
•Create/Find the tools and scripts necessary to efficiently and effectively test your area of ownership.
•Validate configurations (OS / JVM / Client) for the Production environment
•Establish automation and performance as a core part of the product development process that spans development, quality assurance, and operations.
•Collaboratively develop, measure, and report Production SLOs and SLAs as pertain to performance and quality of service.
Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience in software test engineering on Java web-apps, particularly in an IaaS, Saas, or PaaS environment. Enterprise software experience is a plus.
•Experience with a multitude of test tools for bug tracking, test case management, test frameworks, automation products, and performance tools.
•Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills combined with a diligence for follow-through and results
•Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with customers, teammates, and other internal colleagues
•Ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment
•B.S. Computer Science
