Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online (WDPRO), a digital media arm of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, makes dreams come true. Through our award-winning websites, we provide a digital portal to such magical travel destinations as Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California and Hong Kong Disneyland. At WDPRO, we also work closely with our brand partners to design and create websites for Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and Disney Vacation Club.

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager to drive the execution and delivery of Disney-quality productions for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the process and the execution of the project across the Creative Development and Production, Technology and Business Development teams
2. Coordinate all efforts across the three areas (Creative Development and Production, Technology and Business Development)
3. Document the scope of work with help from functional leads
4. Validate that scope can be completed within timeline and budget
5. Develop the project plan and schedule
6. Ensure every necessary step to complete project is accounted for in project plan
7. Clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies
8. Ensure proactive scheduling of all aspects of the production
9. Manage the full lifecycle of projects from requirements through launch
10. Estimate resource needs with help from functional leads
11. Manage day-to-day tasks and have in-depth involvement to allow for early identification of potential challenges
12. Manage project scope and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made
13. Elevate situations that may require Executive intervention
14. Maintain Disney quality
15. Ensure on-time project deliverables
16. Provide weekly status reports and regular updates to Production leadership and executive team
17. Confidently lead, motivate, influence and drive progress
18. Work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity
19. Must be able to work under tight timetables and pressure situations

Basic Qualifications
1. Demonstrated experience managing projects over 1 million dollars in size
2. Five years to eight years experience directly leading e-commerce /web projects, must have at least one year of experience leading projects utilizing the agile methodology
3. Must have previous proven experience with managing customer-centric e-commerce/web project with well known global brands.
4. Excellent communication skills including the ability to lead team members across multiple time zones
5. Extremely detail-oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with aggressive development schedules
6. Travel industry or marketing related experience is a plus
7. Proven experience managing offshore team members
