Program Manager, Product Quality and Infrastructure

What you’ll be doing…
In this position, you will help Tableau drive many projects which aim to improve our test infrastructure and drive product quality to even higher standards. You will work closely with Test and Development disciplines to define areas that will lead to these improvements. As a result you will drive and manage multiple projects at once.
While successful projects demand hard work, you believe that at the core of a project’s success lies in top-notch communication. As a result you are at the heart of the development action every day. You are responsible for shepherding the projects to successful delivery.

You are tenacious and focus on the details while striving to maintain and support the flexibility that a startup product company needs to grow and be successful. Your collaboration style is your biggest asset to drive release to successful completion in a productive and positive environment. You know how to communicate well with everyday project members, occasional participants, and sponsors. You see the success of the project team as your success.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include…

+ Responsible for the project management aspects of multiple projects at once.
+ Drive the planning for test infrastructure and quality projects
+ Work with development teams and groups outside Engineering to establish detailed project schedules and ensure delivery to those schedules
+ Manage dependencies with other departments and other projects

Who you are…
+ Experienced. Experience with Feature Program Management and/or Release management for small to mid-size development team. Previous experience as a SDE or SDET is a plus.
+ A True Team Player. You’re the best at what you do and you know how to work with your colleagues to get their best.
+ Builder. Ability to design processes and methodology to build a repeatable and consistent project management framework that will help the team.
+ Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.
