What you’ll be doing…
In this position, you will oversee program management for building Tableau for the Mac. As a Feature Program Manager, you will shepherd the functional design for migrating our Windows application to Qt. Your role starts early in the cycle: from requirement gathering, to feature prioritization, feature definition and design, project management and oversight during project execution, to evangelization of your features once complete. You will work you’re your peers in other disciplines to coordinate delivery of various projects you are responsible for. As a result you are at the heart of the development action every day.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include…

• Responsible for program management for one or more area of Tableau products.
• Active participant in Product planning and Roadmap definition,
• Drive feature project definition and ensure cross-functional coordination (developers, testers, designers, management) toward successful delivery of the engineering projects.
• Advocate of the product, responsible to drive evangelization of your features to external customer facing events
• Oversee that all projects execute smoothly and effectively, recommend process improvement to increase engineering team efficiency and velocity

Who you are…
• Experienced. Experience with Program management for small to mid-size development team, ideally building a Mac product. Experience using or building Business Intelligence software is a plus.
• Problem Solver. You love tackling the most difficult of challenges and know how to get to the best solution.
• Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.
• Results-oriented. You love the doing and the process but you are all about results.
