The Position:

The Senior Product Manager or Director is responsible for defining and driving our next generation TBM Service Costing application strategy. Apptio provides the marketing leading TBM solution for many of the world’s largest companies, managing over $100 Billion of IT Spend in its enterprise SaaS platform. We are looking for a consumer-focused leader who can work closely with customers, field sales, and engineering to identify key requirements and translate these into successful product strategies to help take our TBM solution suite to the next level. Experiences should include product management of Enterprise software applications (SaaS experience a strong plus), and one or more of the following: data mining or data modeling, BI/analytics, IT finance (budgeting or planning), IT operations management.

Qualifications:
•Proven ability to analyze market and customer requirements and synthesize into product strategy and plans.
•Balance of business, technical, financial, and consulting skills/background.
•Experience with financial modeling (either using Excel or BI tools).
•Good general understanding of Enterprise IT from either a financial or operational perspective.
•Strong ability to build a story around competing data points and present insights and recommendations in a clear, concise manner.
•Ability to think strategically and align product plans with business goals.
•Strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives.
•Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects.
•Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
