Job Summary:

Our ideal developer knows JavaScript inside and out and wants to develop interactive and ambitious web apps with intuitive functionality. You want to make some of the most complex business problems deceptively simple. You’re worked through the full software development lifecycle in the past and have participated in Agile development teams. You are proactive, relentlessly drilling into user requirements until the stage is set for a beautiful solution. You will be working in a team devoted to building a consistent UX across all products rather than as a contributor on a multidisciplinary team. The challenges and collaboration will be fun.

Experience and Skills:
1. A minimum of 7 years related work experience or equivalent education
2. Expert knowledge of Javascript
3. Experience with jQuery
4. Experience with client-side Javascript MVC/MVVM patterns, notably Ember.js
5. Experience with JSON, REST
6. Experience with working with and creating APIs
7. Working knowledge of Git
8. Writes well-abstracted, scalable and reusable code
9. Ability to test and debug your code and code of others, with an eye on performance
10. Ability to work in high-traffic environments, multi-server websites, and cloud-deployed applications
11. Experience with code optimization and caching
12. Experience with load-balanced architectures
13. Can read, understand and modify code written by others
