Customer Solutions Managers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks, and must be skilled in every aspect of a project in which they are involved. One day, a CSM may be meeting with a customer (in person or remotely) to gather requirements for their workflow, while providing suggestions on how to best optimize the workflow with our services. The next, the CSM may be prototyping the solution that the customer desires. If custom components are needed for the solution, the CSM will also document the new component and assist with its development. Once the solution has been prototyped, the CSM will help implement it and support it as needed, all the while making sure the customer's needs are met.

At thePlatform, no customer of ours is the same. Each has their own, unique workflow that needs to be built using some (if not all) of our services. Some customers may even require some custom software development to ensure that their workflow meets their requirements. CSMs also act as consultants and product experts. Not only must our CSMs understand our products that will be used to change the customer workflow, but they must also understand the customer's existing workflow and how it may be impacted.

Responsibilities
•Assist in the design and implementation of components and solutions for customer-specific professional services agreements, in collaboration with Sr. Solution Architects, Program Management, developers, QA engineers, and outsourced development teams.
•Design-review the work of outsourced teams to ensure best practices, avoid performance bottlenecks, and identify common components to build into our client toolset.
•Identify and propose ideas for new components and refactoring of core features.
•Document designs and review them with the both internal and external teams.
•Support trials, proof of concepts, and customer investigations of thePlatform’s core products
•Assist in unit testing, on site installations, performance tests, configuration etc.
•Respond quickly to critical customer problems.
•Create, maintain, and document specific customer implementations (Lab, trial accounts, etc)
•Actively participate in the direction of thePlatform's products and architecture by providing consistent feedback on core components ‘from the field’
•Write customer specific implementations for ingest, custom work flow.

Requirements
•At least 3 years experience in the design and development of modern web applications, including the user interface, application server, and database.
•Solid understanding of J2EE or .NET, Web Services, and relevant design patterns.
•Strong intuition for elegant object-oriented design
•Familiarity with Linux operating system at an intermediate level
•Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
•Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, creativity and resourcefulness.
•Strong communication skills.
•A passion for design and a drive to get the details right.
•A dedication to customer satisfaction.
•Experience with database schema design, stored procedures
•BS Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
•Travel up to 20%
