Backend Software Engineer / API Master

Our cloud-based affiliate management software (SaaS) has been a catalyst for industry-wide change. It is reliable, flexible, and available at a scalable cost to our customers. With over 12,000 businesses engaged, we are tracking more than 375 million dollars in ad spend per year. The success of our current product has laid the foundation for a new and highly anticipated service. We recently launched MobileAppTracking, an innovative performance tracking technology that is now used by many of the largest mobile app producers in the world.

The Senior Software Engineer Opportunity:

We have some unique projects ramping up that will aggressively move our platform forward, positioning us to fly past our remaining competitors. This person will work on our most complex Big Data projects. We are going to be processing, analyzing, and presenting massive amounts of data in realtime. Given our processing demands, inefficient and less-scalable code is quickly exposed. This person is passionate about the science of programming, so hackers need not apply.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of big-data oriented Software Engineering experience

over 5+ years of overall Software Engineering experience

Experience programming with multiple core languages (C/C++, Java, etc) in a professional environment.

Experience with Hadoop and/or Cassandra

Python proficiency

Experience w/ Distributed Processing & Low-latency systems creation!

BA/BS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related discipline (truly equivalent work experience will suffice)

Bonus: Cloud Infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Rackspace, etc)
