Bluetooth speakers are great, as evidenced by our recent spate of posts on some great deals. However, today we have a rare $20-off deal on the Bose SoundLink Mini. While other speakers like the UE Boom and the Photive Cyren have seen plenty of good deals in the past, Bose hardly ever allows discounts.
The SoundLink Mini is the middle child of the SoundLink series. It’s more portable than the SoundLink III and louder than the SoundLink Color, with the great sound quality of the Bose SoundLink line. Amazon reviewers noted that devices connect quickly and appreciated that it connected to multiple devices.
The biggest downside to the SoundLink Mini is the charger, which is more of a charging cradle. That means it uses a less common connection than the standard micro-USB port found on many Bluetooth options. It also means you have to lug around another charger (and find another plug) to charge this thing on the road.
