Update: Facebook faces Congress: 5 key takeaways from Mark Zuckerberg’s hearing

All eyes and ears are on Mark Zuckerberg today as the Facebook boss testifies before Congress in Washington D.C. His first appearance is Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. PT at a joint hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary and Commerce committees. You can watch the live stream here. Cheddar is also live streaming on Twitter.

Zuckerberg will testify again on Wednesday, this time with the House Energy and Commerce Committee, starting at 7 a.m. PT.

Zuckerberg is expected to address the recent Cambridge Analytica data scandal that has brought Facebook under the microscope and dropped the market capitalization of the company by $100 billion from Feb. 2 to March 29. Facebook was already dealing with federal investigations and Congressional wrist-slapping over the role the platform played in Russian interference in the 2016 election
