NEWS BRIEF: Starting today, Microsoft’s Edge browser is available on iPads and Android tablets, four months after it debuted on Android and iOS smartphones. Edge is geared toward people who want to go back and forth between a Windows 10 PC and their phone or tablet and quickly pick up where they left off. The browser is available via an app that can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Edge includes the ability to quickly send a page over from a phone or tablet to the PC to either keep working on it or save. Edge also allows users to carry over favorites, passwords and eBooks.
