“Beast Mode” is showing love to Seattle and Microsoft’s co-founder as he prepares for NFL life in a new city.
Marshawn Lynch bought a full-page ad in tomorrow’s Sunday Seattle Times thanking Seahawks owner Paul Allen, as well as the “12s,” a salute to Seahawks fans that supported him during his six years in Seattle. The ad also includes a logo for Lynch’s Beast Mode apparel line, which opened up a storefront on Amazon last year.

It’s a nice gesture to Allen, who bought the team in 1996 and certainly seemed like a Beast Mode fan despite the tumultuous relationship the running back had with Seattle’s NFL franchise.

Lynch hung up his cleats after the 2016 season but is coming out of retirement and will play for his hometown Oakland Raiders this season.
