Don’t fret about finding the perfect photo from the party for your Instagram; you can now upload an entire gallery instead.

The social media app on Wednesday announced a new feature allowing users to upload up to 10 photos or videos into a carousal-style album. The photo feed will maintain its iconic grid, but users will now see a symbol on images that contain an album. To view it, users open the photo and swipe right to see others.

You can still apply filters to the photos, either editing them one by one or all at the same time. To upload, you click an icon to select multiple photos and then choose the order. The first photo will appear as the album’s cover in your feed.

In a blog post, Facebook-owned Instagram touted the feature as a way to better share “experiences” on the app. You can upload multiple photos and videos from the same event, or document a recipe step-by-step.

It’s not the app’s first move into storytelling. Last year, Instagram rolled out its Snapchat-like “Stories” allowing users to upload content into a slideshow. Today’s announcement more closely mimics Facebook albums, though, since the galleries won’t disappear after 24 hours.

Instagram has faced backlash with each update, but, so far, the change is working. Since announcing the Stories feature in August, nearly 100 million people have joined the app, bringing the total user count to 600 million. For comparison, Twitter has 313 million monthly active users.

Albums take Instagram a step closer to its goal of becoming the one-stop shop for social media. What started as an app to edit and post square photos six years ago has now become a place to direct message friends, post live video and save photos to a private collection.

You can expect to see the newest feature roll out globally in the next few weeks.
